Physiotherapist, pelvic health, pregnancy and postpartum care, therapeutic yoga and exercise, internal pelvic release work.

About me.

Olivia Sabatier is a Melbourne-based physiotherapist working in pelvic health. She is a qualified yoga and pilates instructor, Internal Pelvic Release Worker and mum of two.

Physiotherapy is the foundation from which I have built a unique approach to pelvic health and general wellness. I am driven to empower women/vulva-owners/ birthing people, to understand their pelvic anatomy and optimise pelvic organ function across the lifespan.

I can assist you in all matters related to pregnancy, birth preparation and post-partum, including musculoskeletal injury/pain, prenatal exercise and return to movement post-partum.

Across the lifespan, I manage bladder and bowel issues, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction and painful sex (vulvodynia, vaginismus, dyspareunia), the spectrum of pelvic pain and general musculoskeletal pain and injury.

I am also an internal pelvic release worker, (training under Fiona Hallinan), and complement these appointments with external bodywork or massage, birth preparation (where applicable), relevant education and a plan for future self-management.

As well as group and private yoga classes, I incorporate yogic principles during treatment, using breath work, feel-good movement and meditation therapeutically. Mat pilates training and clinical exercise expertise is also a key modality to help you on your pelvic health journey.
